COFFEE REPUBLIC - about to boil in 2006?

I'm not disputing your maths CR, just the assumptions. A gross loss (prior to admin expenses) of 309k does not seem like most stores are profitable to me. Having said that, I've never been in a CFE store - maybe there is big room for improvement. However, I don't think you can compare them with dominos pizza - I suspect that brand is such that a franchise would be profitable from day one. I know if I order a pizza, I'd always look up dominos number first. If I go for coffee, I'll go to the most convenient place (with good coffee) with a good atmosphere - to me that's usually starbucks.
