AFE, Sydney Technical College chooses Gladstone MRM’s Centremaster for student training environment



Gladstone MRM’s entry level software systems Centremaster has been chosen by Sydney technical college; Loftus TAFE as the training software for future leisure managers.

Teachers felt that the Centremaster product covered all their requirements with regards to membership management, access control, bookings, direct debit and POS that the students would need in order to manage a real leisure facility. It was also found to be a very simple and user friendly system to operate.

College Gym Operations Manager, Brad Marshall uses the Centremaster system to manage the campus gym at Loftus TAFE:

The specialised learning environment provided at Loftus is second to none. It includes a fully operational gym which operates as a simulated work environment where the students can conduct activities and practice their skills while being monitored by experienced teachers. There is also an I.T centre which contains 30
Up-to-date PCs. Here students are taught about professional business systems that are used in industry.

The TAFE teachers are always mindful about ensuring that the systems that they teach are relevant to
the industry needs. In the past, students were mainly being instructed using generic computer programs.
