PV you pompous ass, I didnt say MM didnt take positions from time to time, I said ON THE WHOLE their objective was to run flat books and reacted to newsflow based on a either supply and demand, OR a perceived supply or demand.

THINK how many companies there are on the market....do you think they can watch them all and know whats going on??? If they could then GLD wouldnt have remained unmoved for over 2 hours after last weeks RNS ;-)

People are just obsessed with pointing the finger at some kind of illegal or immoral MM manipulation everytime a stock goes up or down! It simply isnt true, and you know it so stop trying to be awkward!

An example........we've seen selling today all day but no mark down. No conspiracy as the late trade shows us the MM had a buy order for the stock....its not rocket science.
