pip_uk,
I suppose you can't be prevented from posting here about CFU, but please be accurate when discussing CWR [sic - not CRW].
Their ceramic is not made from zirconia, it's cerium-gadolinium oxide. And that's the whole point - lower temperature operation (c. 550ºC). See here for a technical overview:
“Conventional solid oxide fuel cells use ceramic substances for the anode, cathode, and the electrolyte, with electrolytes such as yttria stabilised zirconia exhibiting conductivity only at operating temperatures greater than 700 degrees,” explains Mr. Kumar. “However, Ceres Power has achieved a breakthrough by using cerium gadolinium oxide (CGO), an electrolyte that enables the operating temperature of the fuel cell to be lowered to about 500 degrees.”
As for who makes the boilers, you're saying CFU make their own, whilst CWR don't. Late last year CWR were getting stick for (allegedly) going into mass boiler manufacture which was hitting their share price...
We know you're in the business of ramping (mindlessly) CFU, but a bit of sound fact might be called for?
