The Company was informed on Friday 16th December that following recent
purchases totalling 470,000 shares, Mr Paul McGroary and Ms Tipakorn
Anuvatnujotikul now jointly hold 2,250,000 shares in Central China Goldfields
PLC.


This represents 4.3% of the share capital of the Company on the basis
that the company has issued shares of 52,245,000.
