HOLDING IN COMPANY

The Company was notified on 15 December 2005, pursuant to Section 198 of the
Companies Act 1985, that as of the close of business on 14 December 2005, UBS
AG, acting through its business group and legal entities listed below, had a
notifiable interest in 20,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company,
representing 4.88 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

The Company was informed that none of the Relevant Shares are shares in which
UBS AG is interested by virtue of Section 208 (5) of the Act.
