Significant shareholding

The Company was notified on 19th December 2005 that Deutsche Bank AG and its
subsidiary companies hold 5,461,419 ordinary shares in Celtic Resources which
represents 12.19 per cent. of its total issued ordinary share capital.

Deutsche Bank AG London Branch holds 383,500 shares and 5,077,919 shares are now
held by other Deutsche Bank group companies in customer portfolio, as follows:
