as for schlumberger turning things around, what has happened to well 106 ? it was supposed to produce from the triassic at 50bpd. it was then closed for cement repair. they have now re perforated it at a much shallower level, which suggests to me that the triassic is not flowing anymore.
there last chance is the drilling on the salt lake, but look at the map of the field, its only 1.5km2 and well 106 is right next to the salt lake, so what is the chance of things been any different ? i have no idea, but again, i don t like the odds.
