Can you stand the PACE?

Do a bit of research on the availability of HDTV/PVR boxes in the US and you will find that Pace will be making deliveries of a combined box at least 12 months after the competition - specifically Motorola and Scientific Atlanta. I watched and used a Comcast badged box made by Motorola when I was in the US last Dec/Jan. The following is an extract from the Comcast web site:

"The SA 8000 HD is an integrated High-Definition cable box with a built in 160gb hard drive for easy recording of television programming. The SA 8000 HD has up to 80 hours of standard definition storage and up to 20 hours of HD programming."

I do hope that Pace have got some clever innovations in their forthcoming boxes because playing catch-up with the competition doesn't augur well for good margins.
