midmorning features, Bridgewell comment sounds positive?
On the second line, Burren Energy slumped 36-1/2 at 848-1/2 after the shock
death of Turkmenistan president, Saparmurat Niyazov, overnight.
Dealers said Burren has invested heavily in the former Soviet republic and
Niyazov's death leads to uncertainty in the region.
But, Bridgewell Securities said from Burren Energy's point of view the
likely outcome is a 'Soviet-style' appointment of a new president and the
resumption of business as usual.
