Lets see how the next few weeks unfold. I'm still optimistic and view the present downturn as an October malaise before a pick up to year-end. Sentiment can turn positive as quickly as it did negative, and short closing can add an extra bounce to the sp of good growing companies.
I still have no idea where either oil, the US or global economy are heading but neither do most analysts, highly paid economists, bankers or industrialists.
Best to set your own exit strategy and rely on your own eyes and instincts. It worries me how often people on this board depend on the opinions of others. Where is HB? What does Pippin think etc. No disrespect to these posters, but if you can't make decisions for yourself the market will crucify you in the long run.
