Hi CR
While you're watching the paint, have you ever looked at AIM Group (not on Aim, by the way, but on full listing)? They design and manufacture aircraft interiors. They were damaged by Sept 11 and, unusually, made a loss last year (after exceptionals). But the figures are quite mouthwatering for a value investor. P/e is 5.5 on 2002 figures and 4 times that in 2001. Net asset value per share 153p against 95p midprice. Excellent cash flow, net cash, 5.3p divi, and in November the company bought back 1.1m shares at between 100p and 106p. Company restrainedly bullish about a recovery in the second half; certainly they've done well to find new markets.
The downer is the dreadful spread (85p-105p) and the small NMS. But I'd be curious to read your views since it's a share that fits some (all?) of your investment criteria.
Happy New Year
