Bronco Lane on the PCI trail
Bronco Lane - Thu, 21 Dec 06 :
WHP is an important factor to be considered as vavoom2 pointed out.
The ISAS-1 WHP were poor to say the least and artificial stimulation is gonna be a requirement along with other Wells. They do not mention permiability but it is apparent that it is low on the Darcy scale.
HTT-2 is an improvemnt with only the Devonian F2 being commercially acceptable in my view..the other two zones will require stimulating..
Compare the stabalized pressures they have announced and compare them with
First Calgary results in Algeria released yesterday.
"By year end, FCP will have drilled 17 wells situated west of the MLE field. Of this total, 15 wells are located within the central area as delineated by the LES, MZLN, MZLS, LEC, LEW and GSM discoveries. This area has been termed the Central Area Field Complex or "CAFC", where the drilling programme has defined geological structures that have multiple oil, gas-condensate and gas pool discoveries. To date in the CAFC, the cumulative production tests from 11 wells approximate 162,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (normalised to a 2000 psia flowing pressure). FCP and Sonatrach have jointly agreed to an appraisal work programme that will see a minimum of 7 additional CAFC wells drilled during the extension period after which FCP will make application for commercialization."
2000 psia [atmospheric] is excellent and makes PCI figures rather drab and many investors know this and have consequently baled out.
