Fair comment Simon, its a gamble,i would say very generally that the more time the better, becuase in this game time is simply "much more serious money", so why waste time and money on a no hoper???.
Remember as per the Scotsman article from months ago, they stated that the dry well was a disapointment, but the latest well (ie bachou 1)should prove a great deal more successful, given it was a live in the 1970s, sorry i read that in the Scotsman archives.
This area of their portfolio is one of their biggest prospects (as per equity development, and scotsmans interviews), therefore they havent just plonked the drill bit down and hoped for the best, there is GENUINE potential here, end of story.
My gut instinct tells me, if anything they have a great deal to evaluate, backed up by rhinds mail today, however that doesnt mean its commercial, but i will say having a great deal to evaluate for my money isd a bloody good starting point and i cant see how that can be negative, surely some of it is worth money!!!
