The increase in estimated reserves comes about from evidence (seismic reprocessing/intepretation) which previously ran the field up to the fault line, but now is anticipated to extend beyond the fault line to new limits as defined in the reworking of the data, and which approximately doubles the size of the field.
We may possibly have another upgrading yet to come which isn't promised until the results of the steaming and possible decision to extend the steaming from huff-puff to a full SAGD, are known and decisions taken. And that is that instead of the recoverables being 50%(?) it may now be possible to recover up to 80(?)%. Can't remember the exact figures, but are something like these.
Hungry wolf ... Ok, a simple mistake, but I think you are way over the top in your reaction. They aren't computer nerds, but oil men. Please understand that, and accept that they may not even have done the web updates themselves, but had a web company done it for them. I personally don't give a fig, as long as they know how to find and extract oil. Its no worse than your "flored". whereas I would assume you mean flawed?
