I think he is perfectly competent.
I am sure he is a lovely person.
I would be happy to have him over for drinks and dinner.
But, my expectations of what makes a great leader seem to differ significantly from everone else's.
I think he is okay - not great.
I also think this company could do wonders with the underlying IP etc. if it had a GREAT management team. (Not just about RT).
I don't think he is the man to do it. My opinion. Based on observing his actions and decisions. Anyone is entitled to agree or disagree. It isn't personal. If he impresses me with his actions I will gladly say so. So far, not.
I have had the good fortune to work with some great leaders over the years. I know what they would have done in similar circumstances. I have also worked with and employed some good, competent managers over the years. I have been happy with them mostly but I haven't hero-worshipped them and I took it as my responsbility as either a manager or as a business owner or as a significant investor to push them to greater things - or to replace them.
