The machine would be up and running to its specification and would meet its validation criteria before it had to officially confirm that, probably through a third party that the data was legitimate. Its all done by software.
The M/C then would be moved to site and a re-run take place to ensure that the gathered data within its new environment was within the parameters laid down for validation.
I presume that the M/C would be up and ready for production early January.
