From the link given by fatboy9 I also picked up on this....just one deal with a ttp on a blockbuster and we could see a sp in the tens of pounds. No joking, this is serious business and I get the feel we are close, very very close to achieving at least one if not more this coming year !
GlaxoSmithKline, the UK-based pharmaceutical group, is to pay at least £235m to develop and sell a drug developed by Genmab, the Danish biotechnology company.
The two companies will jointly develop and commercialise HuMax-CD20, a human monoclonal antibody in late stage development for leukaemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and in mid-stage testing for rheumatoid arthritis.
The deal, which could ultimately cost GSK up to £1.1bn in fees in addition to double-digit royalties on sales, follows a competitive auction reflecting the growing battle by large pharmaceutical companies to diversify their products.
