Bioprogress General Discussion
Sheep_Herder - Thu, 21 Dec 06 :
There's a very good post on the serious thread about the capability of the newly installed TabWrap machine that has clarified a few thoughts for me.
The post highlights that if BPRG target the higher margin blockbuster deals, which I think we all know is very sensible, then that single machine can handle the production for between 2 and 4.6 blockbuster TTP deals annually.
My initial understanding/assumption, although I must say I hadn't thought about it much, was that each TTP would require their own machine which would need to be installed at the site of their choice. If this was the case then todays RNS would have been a little disappointing as we'd be waiting a lot longer for news about how TTP instals were going etc etc. However, the fact that BPRG have gone down the contract manufacturing route, and that this machine is a "full blown system" as jan-mar said, means that there are now very few hurdles to jump in order to start TTP TabWrap production.
The next news we hear regarding those 4 TTP TabWrap deals might be that the machine is now running and producing tablets for one or more customers. Is that a valid suggestion? If so it makes me feel a lot better about newsflow we're bound to be receiving very shortly which, I hope, will finally contain revenue projections.
Very exciting.
