the nasdaq volume will be related to deals done with US global pharmas and the like. it's a bit difficult to generate US investor interest in a "speculative" AIM-listed company.
however, should Conva-Tec ever introduce BPRG's technology or should Cardinal ever adopt SWOLLO, or should Wyeth or another well-known US global pharma adopt XGel (or any other global pharma for that matter), the ADR's on the nasdaq could very well take off on very heavy volume.
and on a relative basis, there are only 12 million or so total possible ADR's trading at very modest prices.
it really wouldn't take a whole lot to have nasdaq be the driving force underpinning the BPRG share price.
in addition, volume on the aim over the past 6 months dropped to less than 400,000 on average for quite a while. volume on the nasdaq over the past couple of weeks has reached 30,000+ shares on several occasions...300,000 aim shares.
