'They' might well want to do that, but are the other 'theys' going to let them without a fight. Personally, I would very much doubt it. Therefore, before 'they' open Pandora's Box, it would be wise of them to consider how high they are prepared to go before they throw in the towel and let the opposotion have it.
I ask again. You have considerable knowledge of this company. It is, at present,like a toddler, all potential, and no history. How much would you, as the FD of a company,be prepared to pay, having opened the box, before you sell out to any oppposition bid. If you (as 'they')cannot come up with a rational answer, then don't open the box would seem to be a sound policy. If another 'they' does, then 'they' can join the fray then if 'they' wish. How much do you think the various teechnologies are worth, as a packet, at this stage (which is well before maturity). If 'they' were going to make a bid, why not start it at 30p when the opportunity was there. Answer, (in my opinion) no one wants to rattle the cage.
