Seriously a word of warning... I Met bob a few times a couple of years ago and he seemed like a nice enough chap back then..
We chatted over a pint on many occasions and there was never any mention of cash changing hands... sure... once in a while he'd claim to be able to control the fruit machines with his mind.. "hold the bells he'd whisper" and I'd be £3 up... "Equador" he'd murmour from the other side of drinking establishment whilst I toiled over "who wants to be a millionaire" and sure enough my pot had become £5.. but nothing more than this... at first.
This continued for some weeks, the weeks became months and then one sunday over a pint of the black stuff, squinting through the cigar smoke and from under his deerstalker he fixed me with his good eye (he suffers from an intermittent strabismus) and suggested I'd maybe like to buy into some of the real thing...
Surely bob wasn't suggesting I switch to a well known carbonated drink or venture into the world of narcotics. NO.. he reffered ofcourse to oil... black, black oil... infact as I now realise, blacker than bob's heart. I was scared but by this stage I trusted him and I duley bought into EEN...
Only a few pounds at first..the taking from the fruities and "millionaire"..
I covered the spread and had enough left over for a pint.. I was happy BUT I was hooked..
five pounds became hundreds, hundreds became thousands.. soon I was pimping mrs2003 around the mean streets of kensington just to fund my huge losses and kept on throwing good money after bad, by this time bob no longer frequented my local whitherspoons at happy hour..
I'm now further in debt in EEN than the sultan of Brunai has cash in peak freans biscuit tins under his bed.. truth be told I've spent 14 hours boring 2 circular holes into the window of Curry's with a toothpick just to get access to a PC and send this warning... so beware kids... please PLEASE DYOR... bob is evil.. do not listen to his lies and ensure you dyor to avoid the same fate as me.
Having said that I'm currently looking for a top up opportunity - will I never learn!!
be lucky all.
