ericson has bought redback for 2.1 billion dollars because it wants redbacks router technolgy ,they paid 7 times redbacks earnings for it .I watched ericsons ceo interview on cnbc ,his reasons for paying a high price was to buy the solution now and bring to the market straight away ,if they developed in house it would put them 2yrs behind deployment .Where does this leave bvc because i thought they were market leaders and ericson was a development partner .Does this mean bvc will be swollowed when zvi reduces his holding as with orange a few years ago .Ericsons ceo saw further consolidation with big players buying in expertise in the ip sector reducing lead time to markets .I just wished they bought bvc so i could retire as i'm getting fed up of waiting
