Good morning all and is it safe to come out yet!! ;)

I saw 17 posts and I thought great there has been a good debate etc over night, what a good start with the new year being just around the corner!

Firstly I am not going into this in great depth as life is too short but each one of us has a responsibility when we post and it is something that a few seem to forget which causes many a problem across ADVFN!!

Back to our little thread, well FSE i'm afraid you are going to have to take this one on the chin because regardless of what was said there was no need at all to even make a comment about Va Va yesterday! The thread was going along just fine with some new posters (lurkers) and some friendly o/t banter so god only knows why you had to say anything about a poster that you have fallen out with in the first place. Only you will know why you needed to make such a comment and I responded because to me it was provoking a reaction that was uncalled for imo and I was afraid that it could start another slanging match that wasn't needed.

These are exciting times for the Bat with a re-rating of the SP just around the corner and we do not need any of what I call "Muppet Crap" as I thought we left that behind on the other thread that was ruined and then there was a call for a new one with me being put forward as the moderator.

We do not all need to be in the position of swapping spit in the shower but we do need to be civil with each other and sometimes we may have to agree to dissagree! On this subject, I need to be very clear that I won't stop anyone defending themselves from personal attacks but if anyone is doing it for "fun" so to speak they will be moderated. Please remember that premium users can not be moderated so if you are not sure then ask and I wll tell you so that you can use the filter if you wish!

I know you must do what you think is right but you have added a great deal to the BVC threads both old and new and it would be a great shame if you no longer posted here. Please use your filter if required (FSE is a premium user) and remember that we have both suffered some very personal attacks from the muppets and the fact that we can rise above it makes us better people, don't let them succeed as it is what they want.

I look forward to your posts both on and off BVC and hope that you will continue to play a part on this thread and don't forget that JD want's to buy you a bottle of Rioja which I hope to have a glass off (even though i'm not a red person)!! ;)

I bet after I have posted this there will have been about 10 more posts due to my one finger typing!! ;)
