I think its all going to be a bit meaningless if the $USD completely crashes which unless the Fed reacts very soon is not an impossibility.
Currencies can crash ! even the biggest of them....

Dollar heads to '04 at record low

Greenback falls past $1.26 per euro on economic, security concerns; $1.30 seen as pain threshold.

LONDON (Reuters) - The dollar hit another all-time low against the euro Wednesday as disappointing U.S. economic data and concerns about possible attacks in the United States during New Year celebrations intensified selling pressure.

Early Wednesday, the dollar fell as low as $1.2620 per euro, down from $1.2553 and bringing its losses this year to more than 17 percent.
