Balanced View: Intelligent Discussion of Market Trends
sklogw - Fri, 22 Dec 06 :
Its no surprise that a socialist chancellor has raised taxes.
Its fundamental to their philosophy.
The only difference this time around is that it is mainly 'indirect taxes' which have contributed to the bonanza.
What I would like to see is a break down of where it has all gone to.
I mean a proper breakdown - no spin.!
I suspect the majority of voters are now receiving govt benefits of one sort or another so it will be difficult to dislodge them, especially so as the increase in the population must account for a huge increase in immigrants.
They will presumably vote for Labour as they dont know anything much about the Tories.
I understand that 5.5 million brits now live abroad and that an unheralded
brain drain has been taking place (again) for the last few years.
The creeping disease of a socialist and then a communistic state, not only here but across europe as well, is growing daily and no antibiotics in sight.
If we ever fall into a depression, which is possible, I suspect it will be worse than the 30's. With the breakdown of any sense of community, everyone dependant on the govt and everyone in debt the collapse of law and order is inevitable.
Fortress europe is with us already.
The future is dim - the future is red.
Gather your coins about you - cash will be king.
