Following my post giving projected coal requirements for Bangladesh going forwards to 2030 for the generation of electricity , and the brick industry.

I wonder, is brick-making the best use for met/PCI coal?
Bis again.... as usual folks here seem to have difficulty thinking 'outside the box' , so once more I will step forward, though it does get tiresome having to do everyones thinking for them.
Firstly a congratulation to W for making the point, though I feel he should have made it on both threads and not just one, however he has identified another Bangladesh industry that needs it's better quality coal from Phulbari...the steel industry, so I will put an addendum to my post for this soon, once again thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Secondly, .... and this is where you have to get out of your box, yes W is correct it would seem at first glance that burning such pure/clean and high thermal quality coal for brick manufacture, or power station consumption is wasteful.
However number one, it already is there in Bangladesh and is theirs, and does not have to be imported. Number two it can be blended with coal of a lower quality to make the limited Bangladesh coal resources go further and thus keep the generators keep turning into 2030 and beyond.
