The scenario you cite would render the project economically unviable and thus the price would be lower than where we are if that were to pan out. That Fidelity and others have been buying is not necessarily a cushion of comfort since one can cite numerous cases where these buffoons were buying when it was readily obvious the game was over. No detrimental inferences toward AEN are suggested, but I am merely outlining a generic principle. As i indicated in my previous post i would not invest until the outlook is far clearer. If a premium has to be paid once those issues have been cleared then so be it.

Simon - Post 1660 - I am not aware of any deliberate lies made by Biswell. Indeed over the past year or so in my discussions with him he has been rather frank. If you feel he has lied then perhaps you ought to either ignore his remarks, or alternatively report him if you feel his comments have been deliberately misleading and have contributed to consequential losses for yourself and others. Having an opinion is not a crime, since after all it takes two to make a market.

The reason i raised the issue of financing was because it led me to draw a conclusion on JM from a conversation i had with both JM and the reporter from the Guardian. The issue then discussed, is now, as you point out, history. For the avoidance of doubt i have no position in AEN or MNA, merely an interested observer who has previously held stakes in both.
