Dear All (and Biswell),

‘We will rather die than leave our homes,’ said Shahjahan Ali Sarkar, chairman of the local municipality.

Oh dear!

The problem with many of these projects is that often the political risk is far underestimated. Once local opposition stiffens it becomes incredibly difficult to restore confidence to both the opposition and investors. One only has to look at the performance of Monterrico over the past year to realise the impact of this type of resistance. That company is sitting on a tremendous copper deposit but the share price has languished since the issue of kidnapped contractors and demonstrations rears it's ugly head at the turn of every corner.

Notwithstanding these issues, AEN may have something to offer investors. I invested at the time of listing and then accumulated more at over 3 pounds. Whilst i did not catch the top, i sold for a very healthy profit both aen and cbm. I have traded WTN on tsx,but the gains made were insignificant since i entered WTN slightly too late. One must always leave something for others.
At this stage I would not be rushing to reinvest in AEN until the issue of relocation, amongst other things has been dealt with. The project has just become far too foggy for me and i dont like to invest when the picture is far from clear.

Much has been written about Jo Malins and his actions of late. I must say that i wrote a piece on this thread some months ago, after speaking to a reporter from the Guardian (who ran the piece on the possibility of AEN touting certain houses with a view to raising funds at 570p with the price then at 700p). Mr Malins rubbished the suggestion when i spoke to him as 'complete and utter hogwash, though a chap i know from a certain house indicated that investors baulked at the price of 570p and hence it was not made possible. Who knows, but i shall refrain from further discussion re malins at the risk of making an egregious remark that could be made subject to defamatory process.

So far as regards the predictions of Biswell, his forecasts have been remarkably accurate (save for the call on pog, with which i disagreed in the early months of this year). Mindful of the criticism he is recieving on this thread, it may be the case that i have not seen the plethora of ill-judged forecasts he is alleged to have made. But then i can only comment on observations i have noted, and on those he has called it right in the vast majority of cases.

Best of luck to all AEN/CBM holders.

Regards
