'Alf's not worth bothering about, as I've said before. Having lost 90% of his investment on MDY he's now rambling from thread to thread like The Ancient Mariner desperately trying to get people to listen to the poor sad soul. He tried it on PDX and TDM recently as well as this one. Best thing is to ignore him. Then he gets desperate for attention and becomes abusive. You then report him to advfn (who are used to deleting his posts) and he then either behaves or moves on to another thread. He has a sad existence really, but it takes all sorts.
By the way, interesting comment about draining the warehouse : it has never been flooded and the idiot obviously hasn't heard what's going on at Peterborough ! As I've said before, let no-one underestimate the capacity of the best retailers to overcome obstacles, and ASOS is top class : as long as your systems are intact - and all credit to ASOS because their back up has clearly worked perfectly- it's a relatively simple matter to relocate the physical product and resume deliveries quickly, as other posters have pointed out.
