'Alf's best just ignored. As I've said before, the guy's a complete buffoon who's not taken seriously wherever he posts. He's already been banned from other boards for posting rude and abusive posts under multi aliases and advfn have deleted his posts on at least three threads, including this one. I don't know what he thinks gives him the right to guess at how many ASOS shares I have, but he's way out, nor why he assumes I think they will bottom at 25p (his comments do, however, show a fundamental lack of understanding of basic arithmetic!).
This is a guy who holds shares in only 1 company and those are worth a fraction of the money he paid for them. He ignored my recommendation made to another poster on the MDY thread to sell MDY and buy ASOS when both were at around 12p. MDY closed tonight at 1.875 !
I think we can all see his problem, but why he wants to post here, apart from envy, is less clear. He knows even less about ASOS - and has not and has never had a position in it - than he does about the likes of NTX and PDX where he has also been dispensing advice recently.
