Perhaps this experience is a lesson for ASOS management 'don't put all your eggs in one basket! Although an ASOS invester for sometime it only represents a small proportion of my holdings. The explosion has shown how vunerable small one site companies are. Total will brush this off with hardly a dent in its after tax profit but ASOS could lose a year's profits. Be lucky to recoup fixed costs - rent, wages, redundancy and so on. any stock not destroyed probably out of season/date so unsellable when trading resumes. If price falls sub 50p will buy for long term otherwise take my loss and move on - there are lots of other opportunities and ASOS may be worth another go in 9 months.
