It is honourable of you to admit to being wrong but I beg to differ. Mis-timed probably but not wrong. AQL received a number of approaches for the whole of its share capital in October 2006. The company did not agree on a price. However it is important to note what was said in the placing document.
"The Company has been approached by the Investors who are prepared to invest into the business".
There is still a tremendous amount of interest in the businesses of AQL. I for one am not yet convinced we have seen the last of the approaches.
