It certainly is welcome news from Argentina. I had thought that the North Sea would be a bonanza time for the smaller exploration companies but as we approach the end of 2005 there has been a distinct lack of drilling success so far (Elixir have just found another dry one). So what is the outlook for 2006? Well the cost of drilling rigs is more expensive so many of the smaller AIM explorers will be running out of cash and reviewing their situation. At least Antrim have producing Argentina assets so this will help fund the North Sea operations (and underpin the share price).
