Below is what I posted on iii last Friday, so yes I am still very positive regarding near-term prospects for ASM. Still long on ERX and I have posted my thoughts recently on the ERX thread since the release of the results - the bottom line being that the company are working towards releasing news in early 2007 prior to finalising the fund raising in April and well beyond that we will have to wait and see :0)
As per ASM posting on iii – December 22nd “Well prior to Christmas I had been trying to get a view from the company on how things were progressing and earlier today I was advised that excellent progress is being made with the AS1404 negotiations. The fund raising which obviously got off very well was primarily a precautionary measure and will ensure that other developments can continue unabated. There was a real sense of enthusiasm for how events will unfold through the beginning of 2007 and in my opinion the company are making all the right moves in terms of managing a balanced portfolio with a view to maximising shareholder value.”
