Result of Meeting


At the meeting of the holders of the 8% convertible unsecured loan stock 2020 ("CULS") held today, the resolution was passed.

As a result, as described in the announcement made by Hampton Trust plc (the "Company") on 28 November, the listing of the ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company, 5.5% cumulative convertible redeemable preference shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company and CULS will be cancelled on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and will permanently cease trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's market for listed securities, in both cases with effect from 8am tomorrow.
