Biogentis comes out of the shadows
Investment and clinical result both imminent

Following its highly publicized birth in October 2003, Biogentis retreated quietly to the wings to prepare its development strategy. The task was a tricky one, with three Quebec companies merged almost by force, a team to be built and a coherent business orientation to be adopted. These days, the company is resurfacing publicly, and it is clear that its first year of existence has been put to good use.

First of all, the Quebec company that emerged from the merger of Dermacor, Altertek and AT2 has made progress with the development of its products. SkinLink, a strip with a surgical glue dressing, used for the treatment of slight wounds, should appear on North American markets this month or next. That will be followed by its introduction in Europe at the beginning of 2005, and Asia in the middle of the year.
