tonystringy, When someone has a different view from your own, you call them deramper. In that case, by your definition, you are nothing more than a ramper! Actually my posts are not all negatives. They are just my views. I do believe AEX is an exciting company but not for the current market capitalisation of £50 million due to the politicial and technical risks involoved. I have been following AEX for years including the unsuccessful drilling outcomes in Tanzania. I have also talked to geoscientists who have worked in Magdasgar and I believe they are genuine experts in their fields.

Hi carl1, Thank you for the link. Interesting to know all the companies (including SOCO) that had given it a go in the past. If the acreages really looked that good, they would have perservered.

SWalker, I don't have a high regard for the AEX team since they seemed to be economic with the bad drilling results in Tanzania. As for the Sakhalin look alike, stories of lookalikes have been used by many failed ventures, including that of AEX in Tanzania. The interesting geology you mentioned in East Africa may be interesting but East Africa is big place and I do not believe AEX's acreages are that promising. It is not a question of positive vs negative views, it is a question of whether it is undervalued or not. You may have done more research but I hope you have done it with an open mind, otherwise, you would have failed to pick up the danger signs.

ee is absolutely right in saying "nobody knows where the top is". For me, the top is c.£50 million market capitalisation for AEX unless something significant changes. If I were wrong, I wouldn't regret it since I have made a decision based on my views. I'd be happy for all of the current shareholders if the share price keeps on going up. It's good to have a happy family at ADVFN!!
