I think that S/A would sell to a bank or institution if they were able. However it looks to me like Proteome has such a bad reputation that no one will touch the company with the proverbial bargepole. I would not be surprised if they have been given a limited time in which to sell the 18 million shares after which time the court judgement will be declared. Hence every scrap of good news provided by Proteome will be used to off load the shares. No doubt their MM will do his best to get the best price.
I believe that if GE were running PRM covertly, then, having broken all the rules so far they would see no additional problem in picking up the S/A tranche. I reckon snodders theory is a load of bosh so GE will not be involved either way.
Did you find any interesting biotech companies in your search. I reckon OXB looks reasonably promising and sometimes I wish I had put all the money I have invested in PRM into OXB. At least I'm not losing money there and their management is much more transparent.
Yes we have a lot of long termers on the acolyte board. Many have been involved with this investment for many years and hold entrenched positions.
Don't take anything said by Slippery to be gospel. He had a similar televised conference with his buddy some years ago and it was a load of horsemanure.
As to spreadbetting and shorting I can't help you. Never done either in my life. Wished I had studied shorting more closely in my formative years as it looks like an easier way of making money.
