MM's- buy low sell high.Although they might struggle on that order!!Seriously can't quite work out what Sanofi-Aventis are up to.If want to sell entire holding would try and sell as a block whether to an institution/bank at a discounted price.Drip feeding the market is not the way you would tend to do it with such a big stake.Looking back at Fidelity in the summer they sold 2/3 percent then ended up buying some of the stock back.Sometimes act in mysterious ways.
SnoggerGoat Theory- Unlikely as it probably is, if GE were negotiating all the deals they would be insiders and not able to deal much the same as Pearce is unable to convert his loan into stock and maybe Teathers unable to do any research.
As ever with this share people are continuously clutching at straws whether long or short.
Tried today to have a quick look at other biotech stocks and they are very diffcult to value.Need an in-depth knowledge to understand the value of the IP/potential market.Something like Vectura is valued at something like £160m while there are a lot in the £30-50m area.In the US generally on higher valuations.
The big negative on PRM is the cash but the potential big positive is the backdated income they believe they are due.It would seem that they already have 2 royalty generating products in the market.Most people seem to have placed there bets months/years ago.
Never seen a board with so many long term shareholders(and sceptics/shortsellers) waste so much time debating this and that when in reality they aren't really sure of he answer.There is more to life to PRM.
Will be interesting to see what the Bossman says in his interview next week.
Any idea why you can't short they stock with the spread-betters???Is it fully shorted?
