Rememmber those two girls who got knocked down by the train recently. At March railway station there was a bridge over the track that was not suitable for the disabled. Some 84 year old git(**) complained that he could not use the trains without help from the staff to cross the track. All the great and the good campaigned on his behalf so railtrack spent £500,00 building a new disabled access bridge. Perhaps that money would have been better spent on bridges for stations that did not have any bridge at all. But no the powers that be have to kow tow to the minorities to show how right on they are.
Bah fecking Humbug.
** I call him an old git because his argument was more about pursuing his rights than his inability to actually travel.
