PU; The name rings a bell, wasn't he Bob Berry's codriver at a 1955 race in Ulster and who didn't actually get the opportunity to drive because Bob had a tyre problem and crashed off of the road?
I suppose that Stirling Moss, Mike Hawthorn, Ivor Bueb and Duncan Hamilton were the most famous Jaguar drivers of that era. Mike Hawthorn and pals had the reputation of partying most of the night away before a race whereas Stirling Moss was credited as being one of the first dedicated professionals who went to bed early with a glass of milk? I don't know how true that is.
