Yes, not a bad start to the year for AFC even though the shareprice rise is really only market makers adjusting the spread size. The bid price has not improved today.
Pity also that the copper price, which looked as if it might be reversing, has moved up again today. Still, big rises in LME warehouse stocks in the last few days suggest that the market may be moving into surplus at last. Even if the copper price consolidates AFC should be able to raise it's prices in the long run. It is a rising copper price rather than a high copper price which is bad for AFC.
