Sorry for the short reply but I just going out to a party so it might be start of next week before I can reply on Filfactory aspect.

I agree with what you say however about Prelude being one of the few Investment trust which has the potential to perform as well as an individual share which I think the past performance figures I quoted backs up. Thats really why I bought it to start with I wanted better than average performance without the risk of inveting in a single company which could disappear completely if eg a sound enough concept proved to be overtaken by better technology or as often happens the tecghnology was good but the management wasn't or again as is common the development process took longer than anticipated and the company with the right product simply ran out of cash.

Holding PDT is not as existing shareholders will be aware without risk but at least the range of companies held does take the risk of complete failure down several notches and they could just knock it off with a big one which I feel they will
