COH - 15.75p .. viewing its 4 yr 'all-data' chart, and keeping the DAILY movement setting, the chart looks like a 'heart monitor' or 'seismic printout' .. but it clearly shows the significance of the 15.00p resistance level during the last 4 yrs.
Thanks for pointing out the 1 for 10 share split during November, which may well be having an influence upon its recent movement.
BigCharts plots the 'actual traded prices' .. unlike ADVFN which plots the 'mid price' .. and according to BigCharts, during the last 4 yrs, although the price has seen intraday 'buying spikes' as high as 18.00p .. its previous highest 'closing price', occurred on the 8th Nov this year, at 15.25p .. and yet the price has 'closed' above this level for the last 3 x days .. so a significant achievement, and I reckon a very good sign of more to come.
The 3 mth chart below, is showing slight signs of hesitation at the moment, so it may well 'pop back' to see if the 15.00p level has reversed to a strong support level, and if it has, then its next target will be to 'close' above 17.50p .. if it can achieve this, then I reckon it can say 'goodbye' to its range of the last 4 yrs, and start moving up into 'unchartered territory'.
Obviously if the support of the 15.00p level should fail, and the price 'closes' back within the range, then this could be a sign that its recent movement was a 'false breakout', and its not yet ready to progress higher.
Finishing off with the 'intraday chart' .. this looks very promising .. it shows a recent 'underlying uptrend' converging on its recent 16.50p resistance level around the 'close' on Tuesday .. so if the price remains within that triangular formation, it will have to make a decision on its short term direction within the next 2 x trading days.
Overall its looking very promising .. thanks for highlighting it, and if you are following its progress, please highlight it on this thread again if it 'closes' above 17.50p.
