A CHARTISTS PRICE GUIDE FOR NON-CHARTISTS.
Hambi - Fri, 30 Dec 05 :
fwi: my own view of ser is that unless there is news it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. i don't know enough about the company to know whether news is likely.
mm had ridiculour spreads some time ago and i think (haven't really looked much) that the spreads are now tighter. however, since the spread has reduced so has the sp. the sp has now been bouncing in the .26-.32p channel for a month although .3p is probably a key level. it does seem that there is strong support at .25/.26p but to do anything convincing it needs to certainly break and stay about .3/.32p and ideally needs to break .4p. every .05p seems to represent a resistance level. therefore breaking .25 or .3p and holding the break will probably determine short term direction.
as i say, not an expert, but don't see anything in the charts to give hope. also don't see doom and gloom. i've seen ser ramped a couple of times as having great potential (which is when i noted the spreads) but i don't remember whether the ramping coincided with the short term spikes in the chart.
i think its a very small market cap company and therefore significant news could catapult the sp. as i say, i have no idea whether news is likely but the trading volumes are pretty low
Fingers: hope you don't mind me giving some comment. love the graphics and thanks for a great thread. all the best for 2006
