3DM Worldwide - Superstock??

Minmet-not quite sure what the whole fascination with this stock is and why the name keeps popping up.
Correct me if I am wrong but Minmet was(is?)a gold exploration company that used to be run by a chap called Jeremy Metcalfe.The nature of investing in an exploration company is you win some and lose some-look at Cairn Energy(has had good and bad news during 2004) as an example.The fact that they didn't find anything in Portugal/Brazil or wherever they were looking has nothing to do with the PIM process unless I am missing something along the lines of Jeremey Metcalfe has changed his name to Ken Brooks,looks 15 years younger and has grown a beard??
