I`ve barely survived one battle; I`ve no wish to join another one, imagined or otherwise....and I`m sure both Wendy and Charlie are quite capable of looking after themselves.
As for paths: nobody chooses my path - I choose my own. The destination may sometimes be the same, but I do things my way, even if I fall over in the process.....and my mind needs as much exercise as my feet, as well as a change of direction.
It is making new discoveries which pushes mankind forwards, not retracing the paths of others. If everybody followed in the footsteps of Sir Walter Raleigh we would all be up to our necks in potatoes.
