Bluebelle,
"sucked in my money"? You are misinformed.
I sold out at a profit and currently hold no shares in TDM.
Watching closely to see if I wish to re-enter.
Goatie
And then I read all this .....so Richard WHEN did you sell in late 2005?

Chartyboy,
Ahh - yes, I see what you mean about Great Western - however it plans to mine it very large resource of Rare Earth Elements, not gold.
Me buy at the top? Not so; currently I have a profit of 187% - and expecting to get a minimum twenty bagger from here; probably taking three more years,

Not what my spreadsheet says!
Although I suppose I could start dreaming of the gains to come - but a bit like counting my chickens before they hatch. Which, come to think of it, with modern technology is actually quite a safe thing to do.

Adie, I think you really need to come to terms with the fact that some people know more about this than you do.
LArge shareholders often can glean information. Also those of us that have bothered to go to the AGM and Bedwas have also learnt a great deal - much of it it subject to a NDA; and some just a non-attribution consideration.
Therefore it is impossible for some of us to point to documentary evidence. However we do know what we are talking about - if you do not wish to accept that then fine, up to you. Many of us do accept it - and wish to be able to discuss what we know within the limitations of how we obtained that knowledge, we would prefer to do that without constant nit-picking.

Adie,
Thank you for your last post, which, as the Chartist says, is clear and accurate. [When did I last agree with the Chartist I wonder?]
Isn't it partly a question of investing styles - you, perhaps as befits an accountant, wish for everything to be certain - I, and others, are prepared to take some extra risk in order to get in cheaper? The Chartist would like us to think that he cleans up when the "early birds" get it wrong. Perhaps he really does.
I believe my sharing as much information as possible with others of like spirit that I will reduce the "early bird" risk.

TKoN,
Predictions? I have said that I expect the payback to buyers of the alpha will be less than a year.
I have also said elsewhere that I expect TDM to be a 10 bagger over the next three or four years.
Both those two "predictions" are derived entirely from my own research - and I can still use a calculator - well, a spreadsheet. Can you?

Chartist,
So I am not the brightest of individuals? I got a first at Cambridge - you havent even got a degree.
I "self-loathe" - balderdash.
I am in no way a "priviledged insider" on any stock at all. I did get a little knowledge of TDM from my visit to Bedwas - but that was months ago and lots of people have been there since so I have no edge there.
I have a numerical turn of mind, and I believe that sometimes I can point to possible outcomes. Minmet I got wrong. Stillwater I got right. BPRG I got right. On balance I have more right than wrong - but putting up a numerical picture can often provide a skeleton on which others can put flesh.
Now the Jury is still out on TDM - but my money is still on it - and my confidence level is pretty high. I am perfectly prepared to tell anyone who wants to know why my confidence is high - but not you, Chartist, as I think you lack the intellectual equipment to understand.
Richard
