Each time RPT win a case, there is nothing to prevent CNGG starting another one to keep the issue live. It is a key electotal issue.
I think GB is wrong about the cause of this. The issue here is a political one between Ukraine and the Putin Oligarchy. Putin wants Ukr and its oil within his spherer of influence...sosme in Ukr want thahat, others want to be work outside Putin control. Either way, they will work with the west all this determines is which group of hoods have their nose in the trough first.
Throw in to that mix the provision of Ukr energy from Russia at way below market rataes and...Ukr charging Russia for a share of all Russian energy exports as they cross Ukr land and there is a big fight. Russia has built a new line bypassing the UKr which means Ukr have a mattetr of months to sort things out and it is in Russias interest to do nothing and keep the pot boiling
This won't get fixed for months and certainly not before the Ukr elections in March 2006
